ParenTIN.tv 2nd Anniversary

Last Saturday, ParenTIN.tv, the first online show created by multi-awarded celebrity host and mompreneur Christine Bersola Babao, celebrated its 2nd anniversary at Richmonde Hotel Eastwood, Libis Quezon City. Mommy bloggers were invited at the event and it was also the first Blogger's Day on the online parenting show.

As soon as Tintin entered the Amberley Room of Richmonde Hotel, her bright smile and warm "hello mommies," greeting made us feel so welcome. Her smile not only makes us feel comfortable but also brings us to a positive day to look forward to. How I wish that everyone has this smile like that of Tintin that is always ready to spread to everyone.

For her opening remarks, she shared the many successful events of her online parenting show. On its 2nd anniversary, Parentin.tv has 40 parenting episodes, 11 successful events and more than 2000 members on the website. Going on three and counting, the show aims to share more parenting lessons in the future. Right now, families all over the Philippines can also watch the online show on television via the Knowledge Channel, Sky Cable Ch. 42. New episodes on parentin.tv's developmental milestones, toddler tips and more celebrity interviews will be featured soon. So please watch out for more of these episodes!

ParenTIN.tv at Knowledge Channel and Sky Cable Ch.42 schedules:

Sundays at 8 p.m.
Mondays at 7:20 p.m.
Wednesdays at 8:40 p.m.
Saturdays at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.

In my case where my internet takes me a lot of buffering moments, watching this show on tv while my kids are at school or when I'm done with my online and home chores, is now a part of my activities.

ParenTIN.tv is not only for moms but also for dads, grandparents, and other members of the family. The show is also searching for Teen Bloggers who may want to feature their articles in their website. Teens who are interested may send email at hello@parentin.tv.

Christmas Booth Promo

After the welcome remarks, winners for ParenTIN.tv toddler contest and winners for online quiz were awarded right away.

The first speaker was Miss Vanessa Garon of Golden Values School. I was hooked up with the discussion. The topics were about internet addiction from early childhood. I must admit at times, the discussion hits me because of many hours that I stayed online sometimes, but of course I know when to stop and when its okay to sit down in front of computer for many hours. As a mother of two children who is very indulged into technology, this topic is very important for me. I wrote down all the notes which I will share in my future entry.

Right after the first topic, celebrity mommy blogger Star Orjaliza presented a Mandy Moore's Only Hope song number.

Before the next speaker of the program, Mommy Bloggers Pehpot of Make or Break and Joy of Occasions of Joy gave Tintin the cards and letters that we prepared. Tintin was surprised and thanked all moms for the greetings.


For the second speaker, Health Advocate Ms. Zonito Torevillas - Tamase discussed about eating healthier foods and alkalinity. I will make a separate post about this too and the how the food affects us. She also shared how to make a Moringa shake without adding sugar. I tell you, you won't even taste the Moringa in this smoothies. Ripe mangoes serve as the sweetener together with bananas and one tablespoon of Malunggay powder. It really tastes good!

Mommy Smart Steps

Our lunch buffet was served to us courtesy of Richmonde Hotel prepared by Chef Bienvendo B. Chavez. Roasted Porkchop with Mushroom Gravy, Garlic Lime Roast Chicken Gravy, Fish Fillet in Pesto Cream Sauce were served in a buffet table. Also at the buffet were Salad, Bread, Appetizer, Assorted French Pastries and fruit salad, Tagliatelle Alfredo, and Sauteed Vegetables in season.
