Few weeks ago, the door lock in our apartment was broken so I called up the owner for maintenance. When it comes to repair, I got no problems at all because the landlord seems to be very concern with their tenants. We actually have alarm and monitoring light for our security. Within few minutes, the repairman came and recommended that the door lock be replaced with new one because it was already broken. The front door lock was fixed but I shouldered the expenses as what I have agreed in the Lease of Contract. And because I am planning to install a new address plaques
to further improve the house, I want to clarify if they will share the expenses because we cannot bring the plaque with us once we decided to move out in the future. The owner will benefit with the new look of the house. Sometimes, it is hard to be just a tenant. But what can I do? I have agreed and signed up with the terms and conditions of the contract.
