Shall I Give In?

Daughter slept late last night to prepare for final exam week. I have never seen her staying so late like this. Ah yes, maybe at social networking site but not in academic subjects. Last night was unusual. She stayed as late as two o'clock in the morning. She's confident that she will perform well in her exams. I am glad that she studied a little harder. She doesn't want to disappoint me nor her dad. Did I just hear, "mom buy iphone for me, I got a superior grade in my card." She has been using her old cell phone now and complaining already of slow loading. So, shall I give in to this protest? Oh well, I don't have any reason now not to give in to her pleadings. She's almost sure that she'd make it to the exam and even hopes that she belongs to top ten percent of the highest rank in the class.

I want an iphone 4!

I am not really a cellphone addict. When I need to talk to anyone or send message, I use internet as my way of communication. Being a work at home mom, you will always find me online, almost if not 24 hours. I only need a cell phone whenever I go to our home province where internet is slow that I can't even browse a page. Now that summer is coming, I want an iphone 4 with a mobile broadband capability and bigger sensor camera where I can use to work online even when I'm at the beach or in any summer getaway. I hope that husband reads this post. I badly needed a cellphone where I can blog even when I'm in a remote area.

Multitasking Mom

The laptop that my daughter is using is starting to show problem. She did not ask her dad for new laptop but asked for a camera instead. The laptop is still working well anyway but if I get better deals on laptops, I might get one for myself. I am currently using desktop but I find it very inconvenient for me now as a stay at home mom, doing household chores and online task at the same time. With laptop, it would be easier for me to move around the house and be a multitasking mom.

Battery Warranty

Daughter has been complaining about the battery of her laptop she has been using for the past nine months. She cannot use the laptop without being plugged in direct to the power outlet. The battery lasts for five minutes only and the power would shut down at once. If we have laptop warranty including battery, then I could just bring the laptop to the store and ask for replacement. But since we don't have the receipt of warranty, I doubt if we could get a replacement for this.

ipod for my daughter

While my younger daughter is enjoying her vacation with her best friend, a pet shih-tzu, my older one is busy with her laptop. My two girls definitely have extreme differences. One loves to go out, while the other one would rather stay home. When husband called last night, my older daughter asked her dad an apple ipod for her birthday. And this made me think that we only need one ipod since my younger daughter prefers to just play around with our pet. But no! I was wrong, she's into electronic gadget too. She asked me then, "can I have one too?"

What could be the best gift for teenagers other than ipod? Generation today are luckier that new technology is being discovered everyday. I remember when I was a kid, I only used recycled materials to play. I only have rug dolls which my mother created for me. How I wish I have ipod too in my younger years. I'm contented by just sitting in one corner watching the children playing outside. Oh well I think I need to start browsing the page now and see ipod and accessories for my two precious girls.
